First Balfour, in joint venture with Leighton Asia, has been awarded a multibillion-peso contract by ST Telemedia Global Data Centres Philippines (STT GDC Philippines) to construct the country’s largest hyperscale data center, STT Fairview, located in Quezon City.
The contract covers the first phase of the project, which includes general construction works such as civil, structural, architectural, and MEPF (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and firefighting) works. This initial phase has a capacity of 28 MW and is scheduled for completion by early 2025.
STT Fairview is a multi-phase development that, upon full completion of all four phases, will provide a total IT load capacity of 124 MW. This will significantly expand STT GDC Philippines’ portfolio, supporting both enterprise and hyperscale data center clients.
