First Balfour Regeneration Path

Technical Working Group

Bolstering our commitment to decarbonization and regeneration, our company, First Balfour, has formally institutionalized a Technical Working Group (TWG) for sustainability since August 2022. The group is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the company’s corporate sustainability initiatives. Led by Vicente M. de Lima II, Head of the Strategic Business Planning (SBP) Department, the TWG ensures that all initiatives are done in accordance with our mission and geared towards our net-zero target by 2050.

Convening once a month to streamline the sustainability reporting process and discuss significant updates, the TWG is in charge of strengthening First Balfour’s systems for capturing and analyzing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) data; submitting regular progress reports to our partner institutions, including the Net Zero Carbon Alliance and Council for Inclusive Capitalism, on our sustainability targets and achievements.
