In March 2022, St. Luke’s Medical Center–Quezon City (SLMC-QC) awarded First Balfour the construction of the Support Facility Building, the second phase of SLMC’s hospital redevelopment plan. The six-storey, 5,838.92-sqm healthcare support facility, which includes a roof deck, will house critical operation-related functions such as a pharmacy, sterile supply warehouse, and offices for nursing and engineering.

First Balfour’s scope covers civil, structural, and MEPFS works, with site preparation beginning in April 2022. The project enables the relocation of existing facilities to prepare for the construction of a new hospital building under Phase 3.

This project follows the completion of Phase 1—a multi-level parking building with clinics and patient amenities—and builds on First Balfour’s successful track record with SLMC, including the 154,000-sqm SLMC–Global City completed in 2009. Key partners for the Pivot Building include John Ryan Santos + Partners (hospital architecture), ARUP (design), Design Coordinates, Inc. (project management), and Quantity Solutions (quantity surveying).

Total Floor Area: 5,838.92 sq. m.
