Awarded in December 2019, the project involved the design and construction of a 1.4-kilometer underground transmission line from the Murata substation in Tanauan City to the Meralco switching station in Sto. Tomas, Batangas. Following a successful Meralco energization last 19 November 2021, Pi Energy issued its Certificate of Completion last 6 December 2021.

Its scope included civil works for the construction of a 1.4-kilometer duct bank (an underground concrete container where electric cables were laid), a 65-meter cable bridge structure (pictured below), and substation structure foundations. The project management team also handled all electrical works including the cable pulling of 5.6 kilometers of cables, underground splicing vaults, high-voltage splicing joints and termination points, and testing and commissioning. An additional contract involving the development of a metering facility integral to the functionality of the whole system was awarded in November 2019 and was recently completed last 10 February 2022.
