The St. Luke’s Medical Center (SLMC) Project in Bonifacio Global City is one of the largest hospitals in the Philippines today and is among the Top 25 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the world. The project was awarded to a joint venture (JV) between the Makati Development Corporation (MDC) and First Balfour.

The 154,000-square meter hospital complex is sitting on a 1.4 hectare lot at the corner of 32nd street and 5th avenue in Bonifacio Global City and is comprised of 2 integrated medium-rise buildings and a 6-storey Energy Center. The Nursing Tower is a 14-storey structure with a 5-level podium that houses its ancillary services and can accommodate up to 600 beds. The Medical Arts building is a 11-storey structure whose first level has the reception, lounges, and concession areas, while the next ten levels have the medical clinics and offices. The remaining floor is dedicated for services and utilities. It also has a helipad and multilevel parking area with more than 1,100 parking slots.

At peak, the JV’s project team had approximately 5,000 workers comprised of skilled workers, engineers, and the management. In October 2009, SLMC was completed and handed over within schedule.
