PSA Data Center Breaks Ground

A groundbreaking ceremony held on 27 February 2017 marked the official start of construction of the Civil Registry System – Information Technology Phase II (CRS-ITP2) Building, one of the two key components of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Project between the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) and Unisys Public Sector Services Corporation (Unisys).

In September 2016, PSA and Unisys signed a concession agreement which involves the modernization of the civil registry operations of the PSA and the construction of a new purpose-built building to house a centralized back office infrastructure. Unisys, who will be leading the PPP Project by developing and operating this modernized system, has engaged First Balfour to design and construct the new nine-story CRS building within the PSA complex in Quezon City.
