First Balfour recently signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with Technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP) for various capability development activities.
Founded in 1962, TIP is a private, nonsectarian higher education institution offering various technical, arts and science courses. The MOA signing, led by First Balfour president and chief operating officer Anthony Fernandez and TIP president Dr. Elizabeth Quirino-Lahoz (2nd and 3rd from right), intends to tie up the two companies for activities aimed at maximizing the potential engagement and training of its personnel. Aside from recruitment activities, this new partnership also includes research projects, faculty exchange, curriculum development and cadetship programs, among others.
