Valencia, Negros Oriental – Loreto R. Lobo was one of the safety awardees during the N2N Relocation Project 3 Million Safe Work Hours Recognition Ceremony last June 11 at the project site in Nasuji, Puhagan. Organized by the Energy Development Corporation (EDC), the event was held to celebrate the successful accumulation of work hours without any lost-time incident from 11 August 2012 to 29 May 2014.
A local of Valencia, Loreto was hired in December 2012 as a carpenter/mason at the First Balfour N2N project.
His hard work eventually paid off as he was received the Best Safety Worker Awards of First Balfour in March 2013 and the Sumitomo Corporation in October 2013. Proud akong naging bahagi ng proyektong ito,” he said. First Balfour, Sumitomo Corporation, and Taehei Alltech Construction Philippines were among the contractors recognized during this ceremony.
