DOE-SHAPES Awards First Balfour LGBU PMT

The First Balfour Leyte Geothermal Business Unit (LGBU) Various Projects Project Management Team (PMT) was recognized by the Department of Energy (DOE) – Safety and Health Association of the Philippines in the Energy Sector (SHAPES) as one of the recipients of its 2014 Corporate Safety Excellence Award for the attainment of 2,015,531 safe man hours without lost time incident.

The awarding was held last December 16 during the 10th Energy and Health Conference and the National Consciousness Month Celebration at the DOE AVR, Energy Center, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City. “The recognition was made possible through the leadership of our Project Manager Alfredo S. Maninang, Jr. and through the hard work, commitment, and adherence to the high safety standards observed and supported by the whole PMT,” shared LGBU Environment, Safety, and Health (ESH) Department Sr. Supervisor Joseph Stevens M. Ortile who received the award together with ESH Department Head Roger G. Zapanta.
