#StuffItChallenge winners go to KidZania Manila

First Balfour Zero Hero – an internal environmental sustainability campaign – introduced an interdepartmental competition dubbed as the #StuffItChallenge in March 2017.

The program which ran until the end of May had employees stuff empty plastic bottles with non-biodegradable waste. The stuffed bottles or ecobricks will then be used to build simple structures in public schools where First Balfour has its operations.

More than a thousand ecobricks were collected from the employees. And as a reward, the top five departments which had the most number of stuffed bottles – Finance; Human Resources and Administration; Business Development and Estimating; Procurement and Materials Management; and Quality, ESH, Project Planning, and Concrete – had an exclusive playtime inside KidZania Manila.
